The announcement for the 31st Saxon-Bohemian Orienteering Days, which are at the same time German Championships over the sprint distance and in the sprint relay, has now been published. After the release in the registration system O-Manager it is possible to register for the competitions.

We are glad to be able to offer you such a wide range of orienteering events this year and to receive so much support from the whole region.

The program includes two sprints and a sprint relay in Zittau and a forest competition in Jonsdorf from April 29 - May 1. On all days, in addition to the championship and national ranking races, we will also have an extensive offer for beginners, amateur athletes and children, where everyone can immerse themselves in the typical SAXBO feeling for a small registration fee or free of charge.

Likewise we ask to consider the starting pass regulation valid in connection with the reestablishment of the working group orienteering sport starting from 2023:

At the DM Sprint and DM Sprint Relay the proof of a DTB - ID and a valid annual stamp is required for a right to start in all championship categories until the creation of the start list at the latest.

Compliance with this regulation will be checked with the data deadline of 20.04.2023. Anyone who is registered in a championship category at this point in time and is unable to provide proof of the right to start will automatically be grouped into an equivalent direct lane. Due to the complexity of the starting list preparation with qualification and finals, as well as the large number of expected domestic and foreign participants, we unfortunately see no other option. Czech and other foreign starters can register their age classes via the Czech registration system ORIS. Thus, the sprint will be started in separate age groups.

However, everyone will be able to look forward to a beautiful SAXBO 2023, no matter on which lane they will run.
