The Saxon-Bohemian Orienteering Days 2023 are now less than half a year away. Also in the Zittau Mountains, the winter and Christmas atmosphere has arrived. With the turn of the year we would like to announce more information.
Parallel to the SAXBO or the German Championships Sprint, Sprint Relay and the National Ranking Run from April 29 to May 1, the Zittau Mountain Run & Hiking Meeting will also be held. Therefore we would like to recommend all participants to book their accommodation early. A compilation of our recommendations can be found under [Bulletin].
The SAXBO has always offered the opportunity to compete in challenging runs with numerous very good orienteers. The traditional 800-1000 participants come mainly from the Czech Republic, Germany and Poland. Parallel to the German ranking, the three days of competition have now been officially included in the competition calendar of the Czech Jeschken region. In addition to the German classification as a national ranking race, the forest competition in Jonsdorf has also received the classification of a Czech regional championship.
Therefore, we are already looking forward to exciting decisions for the upcoming SAXBO.
