The new generation has always played a central role in the Saxon-Bohemian Orienteering Days. A wide range of activities for children also offers parents the possibility to participate in their competition in a relaxed way.
Nowadays many events offer orienteering for children. Within the program of the SAXBO there are different variants.
So the kids, who are not yet registered in a category, can traditionally take part in a children's orienteering race alone or with a companion without registration.
At the same time there is a kindergarten where the youngsters can be dropped off and where they are looked after in several languages. The languages currently range from German to Czech, English and Italian (as needed). There is also a wide range of activities for the children there.
Direct tracks allow an individual start in parallel, so that parents with children can also coordinate with each other if necessary.
Which offers there may be for children in 2021 depends entirely on the further infection process and the sporting or legal framework conditions.
In any case, the equipment and possible concepts have already been tested individually with the kids.
