Saxony's Health Minister Petra Köpping informed in a podcast on 1.10.2020 about a 48-hour regulation, in which no quarantine regulation applies when crossing the border. In the interview she announces that other activities (e.g. hiking or shopping) are also permitted abroad.
In concrete terms, this means that travel returnees from Saxony do not have to go into quarantine if they have been in the Czech Republic for less than 48 hours.
According to the current Corona quarantine regulation, § 3 paragraph 3 no. 6:
Excluded (from the quarantine obligation) are persons who have been abroad for less than 48 hours and whose stay abroad has not served the private participation in a cultural event, a sports event, a public festival or any other leisure event.
In this respect, we have to inform you at this stage that for German participants the start at the Czech stage is not recommended. Due to the current regulations in the Czech Republic, the stage will probably be completely cancelled.
However, we would like to point out that the hygiene concept for the stage in Germany has been approved by all official authorities and that a start for German participants is possible without any problems according to the current status.
