SAXBO 2026 is less than six months away. With plans becoming increasingly concrete, it is time for us to take a break over the Christmas and New Year holidays and send a few greetings via our website.
In 2026, we will be offering three top-class orienteering events. The SAXBO races will take place on 2 and 3 May. As an additional event, there will be a prologue as part of the Rumburker Lilie on 1 May. The programme promises three very different and varied races in the forest and rocky areas of the Zittau Mountains and the surrounding area.
At the same time, we are also delighted about the widespread development of orienteering activities in German-speaking countries. In addition to the already established Görlitz Orienteering Days at the beginning of September, there will be an open training camp for beginners and recreational athletes at KIEZ Querxenland on the weekend of 20–22 March. This will be followed on 11th and 12th April by two national mountain bike orienteering competitions in the forest areas of Querxenland and at the Blue Lagoon near Görlitz.
As always, all events will offer a wide range of activities for children, newcomers and interested parties.
