Slowly but surely, the calendar is filling up with orienteering competitions for the coming year. The organizing team for the Saxon-Bohemian Orienteering Days has also now finalized detailed arrangements for the upcoming event. It is planned for the long weekend at the beginning of May.
After SAXBO always means before the next edition. There are always lots of ideas about what such an upcoming event could look like. But we don't want to give too much away in advance this time either. It will definitely remain rocky. After heading downhill last year, we want to aim high in 2026. You can mark May 2 & 3 in your calendars. German and Czech rankings are also planned again, as well as a comprehensive program for children and beginners.
As the mountain bike orienteering event has also been very well received in recent years, another jointly organised race for the MTB-O-Sachsen Cup is planned for the weekend of 11th and 12th April. This time, the destination will be the Blue Lagoon at Lake Berzdorf.
