In the best running conditions, the second SAXBO stage took place in a running area southeast of Jonsdorf, which had been mapped for the first time. The participants often reported impressive views during the run - even if SAXBO-typical numerous meters in altitude and also difficult to run sections had to be mastered. Numerous children started at the offered Labyrinth-Orienteering.

The results of the first SAXBO stage in Czech Republic are available. In best outdoor conditions more than 600 participants started over the middle distance in Czech Republic not far from Chrastava. The elite classes were won by Barbora Baldrianová (USK Praha) and Wieland Kundisch (USV TU Dresden).
Also on Sunday we expect challenging competitions in the rocky areas near Jonsdorf in bright sunshine.

The starting lists for the 29th Saxon-Bohemian Orienteering Days are online. Despite the full competition calendar in the Czech Republic and Germany, we are pleased with the numerous registrations.
The control descriptions are available for the Czech stage on Saturday in the competition center. For Sunday this should be downloaded and printed in advance. In parallel, the technical instructions for Sunday have been published.

We can extend the offer for children to the SAXBO on Sunday by a maze-orienteering. Between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. we offer all children the opportunity to start free of charge with SI chip in a maze and set the fastest time. Electronic chips will be provided if needed.

The SAXBO competitions on 25 and 26 September 2021 and the registration deadline are getting closer. So it's time to publish the course data at least for the German leg.
Fresh from the forest, a revised map finally provides the provisional course data for the extended middle distance stage in Jonsdorf on Sunday. The Czech stage on Saturday will be a classic middle distance. The course data will be published soon.

An extensive range of activities for all ages and fitness levels characterises many orienteering competitions. Due to the current general conditions, we can unfortunately only offer mass sports activities without club membership under limited conditions this year.
