There will not be an official time measurement within the training offer in the Zittau Mountains. However, we would like to give all starters the opportunity to register in an open results list to compare themselves with other runners. On Friday afternoon there was an offer for children in the area of Zittau.

Just in time for the planned SAXBO date in 2021, a new fixed post network will be opened on the Czech side. From May 1, it will be possible to go post hunting at Lake Kristyna in the border triangle.
The official opening ceremony is scheduled for April 30 with the presence of the Liberec County Governor, Martin Půta. Afterwards, this will be available to the general public and overnight guests at the camp.

Instead of the Saxon-Bohemian Orienteering Days, which were cancelled for known reasons, we invite you to a training variant. We offer 4 courses of different length and difficulty in the area of the Heideberg/Gypsy Mountain in the Zittau Mountains. The posts are plastic boards (15x15cm) with the red and white orienteering symbol and the inscription SAXBO (without SPORTident stations).

Although the Czech and German organizers prepared the races until the last moment, unfortunately, due to the circumstances of the pandemic, we were forced to cancel the SAXBO competitions in May.
We will not get the necessary consents from the landowners, so we will look for an alternative date in the autumn months.
Let's hope it works out and we can offer two new maps to the competitors.

With a heavy heart, but ultimately in accordance with the facts at hand, we had to decide not to hold the SAXBO on the scheduled date of 01./02.05.2021. At least for the German leg this decision has now been made.
