The Saxon-Bohemian Orienteering-Days 2020 are history. More than 470 participants started on Saturday in Lückendorf in the Zittau Mountains. Numerous satisfied faces confirmed us a very good work, despite or maybe even because of the very special conditions.

In anticipation of the competition on Saturday, here is the latest information. Even though we had actually planned a much more extensive program this year, we are glad that an orienteering competition can take place at all.

In the preliminary stages of the competition, we would like to point out once again the valid guidelines. Accompanying persons, who are not registered via a registration portal, must fill out and hand in a separate document.

The starting lists and item description for the SAXBO 2020 are now available online. Several hundred participants from the Czech Republic and Germany have registered for the competition on October 17.
At the moment we assume that the competition can take place as planned. Let's hope that the general conditions will not change until Saturday.

For the competition in Lückendorf on October 17th the preliminary course data are now online. Unfortunately we have to cancel the competition on October 18.

Saxony's Health Minister Petra Köpping informed in a podcast on 1.10.2020 about a 48-hour regulation, in which no quarantine regulation applies when crossing the border. In the interview she announces that other activities (e.g. hiking or shopping) are also permitted abroad.
In concrete terms, this means that travel returnees from Saxony do not have to go into quarantine if they have been in the Czech Republic for less than 48 hours.
